Article Abstract
Several useful methods exist to screen for cognitive impairment,and clinicans need to be familiar with the strengths and limitations of their preferred screening methods.In investigating the cause of dementia, routinely obtaining a VDRL test,cerebral imaging studies,serum cobalamin level,or folate level is unwarranted.
